Welcome aboard: Our trainee programme starts in 2025

Five new faces, one shared future – we are delighted to welcome our new trainees to FISCHER LICHT & METALL. On 1 September, five young people began their training with us and are now embarking on an exciting and varied career in metal technology as construction mechanics. This marks the start of a new chapter in their lives and an exciting journey into the future of our company.

A successful start to the first day

The first day of training was all about discovering, getting to know each other and settling in. After a personal welcome, the new trainees received their FISCHER clothing and had the opportunity to explore the factory. Machines, projects, teamwork – the look behind the scenes provided exciting impressions and brought the diversity of the work at FISCHER to life.

Production manager Benjamin Köbl is delighted with the new recruits: ‘We don't see training as an obligation, but as an opportunity – for the young people and for us. Our goal is to promote talent, offer them prospects and win them over as part of the team in the long term.’

Training at FISCHER – our investment in the future

With the new intake, we now have a total of 23 trainees – out of a workforce of 230 employees. This corresponds to a training quota of around ten percent, which is well above the national average of around 4.5% (source: BIBB). This figure underlines how important it is for us to promote young talent and how strongly we are investing in our own future.

For us, training means more than just imparting knowledge: it is a strategic investment that secures innovation, know-how and expertise in the long term and brings fresh ideas, new perspectives and motivation to our team.
