training start 2019 at FISCHER LICHT & METALL

Seven new members join the team

Mühlhausen. Seven apprentices started their working lives and careers at FISCHER Licht & Metall on September 2, 2019. Four construction mechanics, one electrical system fitter, one technical system planner and one IT specialist, among others, will learn the variety of industrial series production and professional craftsmanship in the coming years. The jump from summer vacation to everyday working life was made easier for the youngest at FISCHER by an introductory day and extensive getting-to-know-you sessions.

"Our apprentices have the unique opportunity to learn high-tech machine technology and down-to-earth craftsmanship in one company," says Production Manager Benjamin Köbl, who himself completed his apprenticeship at FISCHER many years ago. He went on to emphasize the great importance that training still has in the traditional company. "The preservation of knowledge by passing it on to the next generation of employees has been the cornerstone of the company's innovative strength for many years." Old and young work hand in hand.

In the course of their 3- to 3.5-year training period, the skilled workers of tomorrow get to know a wide variety of departments and thus gain valuable professional experience at FISCHER Licht & Metall.

Stephan K. Fischer, Managing Director of the 200-employee company, on the importance of junior staff: "By investing in our own future specialists, we are securing our long-term and sustainable success. The sound knowledge of our employees is very important for us as a producer of high-quality branded illuminated advertising."

Anyone who would also like to be part of the training program at the start of 2020 can already find out about the vacant training positions at www.fischer-lum.de. A trial internship is also possible at any time.
