Successful appearance at the ESC Berching curling tournament

Under a bright blue sky, we took part in the ESC Berching curling tournament on 6 September. Seven teams competed against each other, and our team was delighted to come in a well-deserved third place.

FISCHER entered the competition with five participants – the same well-coordinated team as last year. The tournament began in the late afternoon and continued into the balmy evening twilight. 

Excellent atmosphere and perfect catering

In addition to the thrilling games, ESC Berching provided an all-round successful supporting programme. Whether with aromatic coffee, tempting cakes or hearty barbecue food – the culinary offerings left nothing to be desired. The award ceremony provided a festive conclusion before the day ended with a cosy get-together in good company. 

Farewell to the old rink – looking forward to the new one

This year's tournament had a special touch: it was the last time it was held on the old curling rink, which is already being prepared for extensive renovation. Next year, the tournament will take place on the new rink – supported by numerous sponsors, including FISCHER.

A successful day of competition, a great team, a fantastic atmosphere and wonderful weather – the ESC Berching 2025 curling tournament will remain a fond memory. We are already looking forward to continuing on the new facility next year.
