Five young professionals strengthen the team

Training start

Mühlhausen. A new phase of life began for five apprentices at FISCHER Licht & Metall on September 1. Four young people are learning the profession of construction mechanic. One young adult decided to train as a sign and light sign maker.

26 trainees in three cohorts ensure an above-average training rate of over 12% compared to the national average. In the course of their 3 to 3.5-year training period, the skilled workers of tomorrow learn the job-specific skills and knowledge. By working in various departments, the trainees gain comprehensive and extensive work experience.

Stephan K. Fischer, Managing Director of the 200-strong company, warmly welcomed the new employees and underlined the importance of junior staff: "We are countering the shortage of skilled workers with modern and qualified training. Because the sound knowledge of our employees is of very great importance to us as a producer of high-quality branded illuminated advertising."
